June Opening times and Private View

We are holding a private view on 1st June 2024 from 5 – 8pm. Be in with the first art lovers to see our Summer collection and enjoy drinks and canapés on our opening night. After this,  the gallery will be open 11am – 5pm everyday.  Surrey Artists Open studios runs from the 1st – 23rd June 2024 but our show will continue till the 30th June.

 

Workshops

The Beauty Of Collage: Creating your own masterpiece

Join artist Liz English for an afternoon of decoupage – the art of cutting out and reassembling
beautiful images taken from a myriad of sources. The result -a wonderfully unique piece of art in the
form of a collage. No experience is required just a love of colour and fantasy. All materials will be
provided and the workshop will take place in the gallery’s beautiful garden . If the weather is wet it will take place under cover.
Participants make bring additional material if preferred.

 

Expressive Charcoal: techniques on how to use this versatile and time honoured medium.

Join artist and sculptor Michael Joseph for an afternoon learning how to use a stick of charcoal. Techniques include: adding and subtracting layers, masking, rubbing, polishing and 16 other ways to use this medium
No previous experience necessary – even if you think you cannot draw!
All materials provided including the granary bread.
Just book, turn up, prepare to enjoy yourself and don’t wear your best clothes.
The Workshop will take place under cover if the weather is wet
