My sculptures are all based on the natural world of botanical forms and are an endless source of inspiration.

I studied and graduated for a Masters in Ceramics at UCA Farnham and my work is about the microscopic world of seeds and pollen. Before my masters I was an art teacher in secondary schools which was a good grounding for a range of skills in painting, printing and sculpture.

 

But I wanted to work with clay in particular porcelain, in a sculptural form. As I have been a botanical painter for many years and shown in an SBA exhibition, my sculptures are all based on the natural world of botanical forms and are an endless source of inspiration.
