Ian Marlow : Spiral
£3,500.00
Stainless Steel
The spiral is a recurring form in nature, from sea shells to whirlpools and the way some plants climb, twisting round their host as they rise up. With this sculpture I was exploring not just the spiral, but the space that is formed in between. Off to the side is an openness that is as beautiful as the complex structure that created it.
