Ian Marlow : Open Flower
£2,800.00
Stainless Steel
A flower opens its petals to reveal the stamens. Those brightly coloured petals grab our attention as is their job: they are merely window-dressing, there to get attention. In this sculpture the flower is stripped back to basics and what becomes interesting is how that reduction goes unnoticed.
