Stoneware Ceramic torso ( suitable for interior and exterior spaces) with glaze mounted on a stone base.
This sculpture embodies a classical approach to the human form. It is glazed using a contemporary blue colour and the arched back and exaggerated raised right hip depict a sense of movement within the fragmented torso. Celebrating the strength and beauty of the female form using either clay or wax I draw influences working directly with a life model and also my imagination.
