Acrylic on gesso panel (framed). This piece was inspired by the seasonal rains in South East Asia. I lived in Singapore for ten years and would make regular trips to the neighbouring Indonesian islands that made up the Riau Archipelago. I loved sitting on the beach and watching the storms slowly approach from the horizon gradually turning the sky black.
