Sustainability is central to the sculptors practice. By upcycling these discarded and often degrading materials he offers them a new lease of life . The components in Chalice once devoted to industry are reassembled into the familiar form of a bird bath. Elevated and open, the structure evokes care and welcomeness echoing a vessel traditionally associated with nourishment, pause and trust.
